It's our birthday...10 years ago I opened my business.

As a busy mum raising 4 children, and one with Autism, my life was hectic and at times overwhelming and I would do it all again for my kids.

I needed an outlet, I needed the freedom to do something for me, something creative and something to give me a breather and the energy to keep going as a mum. From an idea and a dream I started Aribella (formerly Exotik Glamour).

Aribella was and is my creative outlet and gives me the opportunity and independence I craved so much. I have no background or formal training in fashion or design, but I've always had determination, drive and faith that anything I set my mind to, I can achieve (also a good eye, if I do say so myself ;)). Nothing much scares me, I've always had a can do attitude and I believe all women have that hidden inside them, whether they know it or not.

Initially I began designing a small collection of silk dresses and kaftans and was exclusively wholesale, as my business grew, my designs evolved, and I branched out into my own retail space, with a community of women from across the globe connecting and loving our collection. Our vision is to make high quality garments that are unique and loved by our customers. We love sourcing hand made treasures and accessories. We are not about fast fashion, it's not who we are.

I strive to make women feel glamorous and look amazing, I try and make every customer feel special and have an amazing experience in our boutique. I want them to feel their most beautiful and confident.

My daughter Alexandra works with me full time and has been part of the story from the beginning and she has been an integral part of the business and it's growth. My younger daughter Sophia has also been part of the Aribella story and has been involved in photoshoots and assisting in the boutique...I'm forever grateful to them for their support and efforts.

I am so proud of the brand and community I have created, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all of your support throughout this last decade.

Here's to celebrating 10 wonderful years together — and to many more to come.
